Version 1.0.10 is a small fix release. The headline is a regression from 1.0.9 that kept categories from saving, along with a few improvements to how signing in and out behaves and a cleaner font-size control on mobile.
Categories save reliably (Desktop)
- Picking a category in the New or Edit Transaction dialog now saves it. A 1.0.9 regression could silently store an empty category instead of the one you chose.
Stay signed in longer (Desktop, iOS, Android)
- Caffeinated Account sessions now last a year between uses instead of thirty days.
- On Desktop, a flaky network at app launch no longer signs you out. The app keeps your credentials and retries on the next sync.
Smoother return after signing out (Desktop)
- When your session does end, the desktop app now opens to a focused Welcome back screen with Sign In as the primary action, instead of the first-impression orientation or the subscription pitch.
Cleaner font-size picker on mobile (iOS, Android)
- The Font size control in Settings is now a slider with small and large “A” anchors at the ends, instead of five cramped buttons whose labels were wrapping mid-word on most phones. Same options, same behavior, just legible.
