Version 1.1.10 is about currency. If you keep your accounts in anything other than US dollars, the app has been showing you the wrong symbol everywhere it showed an amount. That is fixed, along with a pair of recurring entry problems that made scheduled transactions arrive late or not at all.
Accounts show the currency they are set to (Desktop, iOS, Android)
An account set to pounds, euros or yen showed dollar amounts throughout the app. Balances, the register, reports and amount entry now all use the account’s own currency. The amounts themselves were never wrong, only the symbol in front of them, so nothing in your accounts needs correcting. Thanks, David.
Totals that cover accounts in different currencies are now listed one per currency rather than added together, since adding pounds to dollars gives a number that means nothing. For the same reason, transfers are limited to accounts that share a currency.
New accounts start in your local currency (iOS, Android)
A new account now takes the currency of your device’s region instead of defaulting to US dollars. You can still change it on the account itself.
Yen is shown in whole yen (iOS, Android)
Amounts in Japanese yen are shown and entered without decimal places, the way yen is actually written.
Posted recurring entries appear immediately (iOS, Android)
Posting a recurring entry needed the app restarted before the transaction showed up in the account. It appears right away now. Thanks, Mike.
Recurring entries post on their own (iOS, Android)
Entries set to post automatically now post when you return to the app and after each sync, rather than only when the app is started fresh. On a phone that stays open for days, that is the difference between a scheduled bill landing on time and not landing at all. Daily and weekly entries also no longer stall when the clock changes.
