Smarter Quicken QIF import
Transfers between accounts now link automatically across the files you import, whether you bring them in all at once or one at a time. New accounts are created with the right type (a brokerage file becomes an investment account, not a checking one), and the mapping panel only lists accounts that actually have data in the file you picked. Investment records, including opening cash balances and reinvested dividends, come across cleanly.
Reports updates
Cash Flow and Income vs Expenses are now two separate reports. Cash Flow shows Inflows and Outflows with transfers included, so a single-account view reflects what actually moved in and out. Income vs Expenses excludes transfers for a clean view of what you earned and spent. Both show a Total row.
Transactions is a new report tab listing every transaction matching your filters, with date, payee, category, memo, and amount. Good for quick audits and filtered CSV exports.
Open Reports windows now refresh automatically after edits or imports; no restart needed.
Known limitation
Quicken tags are not yet imported. They appear as skipped metadata in the import summary. If you rely on tags, let us know so we can prioritize it.
